The Crosstalk between MicroRNA-196a and Annexin-A1: A Potential Mechanism for Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Progression

چکیده
Oral squamous cell carcinoma is the most common malignancy of oral neoplasm, comprising for more than 90 % all malignancies, as well approximately 38 head and neck tumors. So, it great significance to find potential therapeutic target disorder. The messenger ribonucleic acid micro expression profiling was performed patients; acid-messenger regulatory network established; functions were further explored in Cal27 adenosquamous line. Compared with normal mucosa, patients demonstrated 192 differentially expressed genes (66 up-regulated 126 downregulated) 23 acids (4 19 downregulated), among which acid-196a annexin-A1 significant expressed. a direct supported by bioinformatics luciferase analysis. antagomiR-196a technique utilized silence activity acid-196a. By this, shown modulate cellular migration, invasion colony formation through annexin-A1. At same time, closely associated protein kinase B mitogen-activated signaling pathways. This integrated study hypothesized dependent axis provided beneficial reference future clinical study.

The Cancer Stem Cell Hypothesis in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A New Target for the Treatment
Within a single tumor clone, cells have significantly different abilities to proliferate and form new tumors. This has led to the hypothesis that most cells in a cancer have a limited ability to divide and only a small subset of distinct cells, the cancer stem cells (CSCs), has the capacity to self-renew and form new tumors . It has been proposed that the development of tumors is based exclusiv...
متن کاملClinical decision support system, a potential solution for diagnostic accuracy improvement in oral squamous cell carcinoma: A systematic review
BACKGROUND AND AIM: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a rapidly progressive disease and despite the progress in the treatment of cancer, remains a life-threatening illness with a poor prognosis. Diagnostic techniques of the oral cavity are not painful, non-invasive, simple and inexpensive methods. Clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) are the most important diagnostic technologies used...
متن کاملComparing Immunohistochemical Expression of Podoplanin between Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Normal Oral Mucosa
Background and purpose: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the sixth most common cancer in the world. Podoplanin is a mucin-like integral membrane glycoprotein that is expressed in the lymphatic endothelial cells but not in the blood vascular endothelial cells. The aim of the present study was to investigate the immunohistochemical expression of podoplanin and evaluating lymphangiogenesis i...
متن کاملRelationship between the Expression of Matrix Metalloproteinase and Clinicopathologic Features in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Introduction: Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity is one of the most important and common types of head and neck malignancy, with an estimated rate of 4% among all human malignancies. The aim of this study was to determine the association between expression of matrix metalloproteinase 2 and 9 and the clinicopathological features of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Materials and Met...
متن کاملRole of Brg1 in progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
Objective(s): Epigenetic regulation of gene expression can be carried out through chromatin remodeling enzymes such as SWI/SNF. Brg1 also known as SMARCA4 is a catalytic subunit of SWI/SNF, which is necessary for MMPs expression. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are known as important player enzymes during tumor progression and metastasis. Aberrant epigenetic modification of chromatin should be...
